Pushkar: It is a sacred town for the Hindus and is situated 11 km from Ajmer. Pushkar takes pride in the Brahma temple which is one of its kinds in the world. It is believed that a dip in the waters of Pushkar and then performing worship at its temples ensures salvation.
Salemabad or the Nimbark Peeth: It is a religious place or the �Peeth� founded in 1463 AD by Khejarli Shri Sheoji and Gopal Singh Ji Bhati under the instructions of his holiness Shri Nimbarkacharya Peethadhishwara Shri Parashu Ram-Devacharya Ji. The most interesting feature of the temple is that the Sanctum Sanctorum has been built is such a way that the moonlight of the moon of the Sharad Poornima touches the feet of the idol at 12 PM.
Adhai Din ka Jhopra: This masterpiece Indian architecture is said to be constructed in two and a half days by Qutbuddin Aibek, the founder of the Slave Dynasty in India. The monument which is now in its ruins has seven arched walls with Islamic calligraphy which represents the beauty of Muslim art.
The Nasiyan Temple: The temple also known the �Red Temple� is a Digambar Jain temple which has a double storey hall adjacent to the main temple. A series of gold plated wooden figures depicting legends from Jain Mythology adds additional charm to the temple.
