Beautiful Nest & Backwaters

Nest Backwaters are one of the major tourist attractions in Kerala. Kerala often referred to as God�s Own Country is endowed with natural beauty. A chain of canals extends about 1500 kms, with a network of 44 rivers, lagoons and lakes crisscrossing the state. Nest Backwaters Tour in India will cover the following destinations: Mumbai, Trivandrum, Kovalam, Cape Camorin, Varkala, Kumarakom, Periyar, Kottayam, Cochin, Allepey, Calicut, Ooty, Mysore and Bangalore.
Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
The Nest Backwaters Tour in India starts with your arrival in Mumbai, wherefrom you will be transferred to the hotel where the rooms are held on ready occupancy basis. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
Today you will get an opportunity to explore the city of Mumbai. Visit the Juhu beach, Gateway of India, Elephanta caves and other tourist attractions. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 03: Arrive Trivandrum - Kovalam
Today is the third day of the tour, when you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Trivandrum. On your arrival at Trivandrum, you will be transferred to Kovalam where you can check into a hotel. Later during the day you will be left free to enjoy as per your will. You can also indulge yourself in the pleasure of getting herbal, body- toning massages. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.
Day 04: Kovalam - Cape Camorin - Kovalam
Today you are scheduled to go to Cape Camorin. Today you are scheduled to visit Padmanabhapuram Palace and Archeological museum. In the evening, drive back to Kovalam and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 05: Kovalam � Varkala
This is the fifth day of the Nest Backwaters Tour in India. In the morning you are scheduled to proceed towards Varkala, which is one of the most beautiful beach resorts in India. You can also pamper yourself with some of the body therapies that are offered here. You are scheduled to spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Varkala � Kumarakom
Today you are supposed to ride to Kumarakom, which is often referred to as the backwater country. You can go on a luxury cruise from Varkala to Kumarakom.
Day 07: Kumarakom
Today you are scheduled to go on a boat ride into the countryside, where you will get to visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. You can also indulge yourself in some water sports such as windsailing & water skiing, or take a ride on a canoe into the lakes. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 08: Kumarakom � Periyar
On the eighth day of the Tour to Nest Backwaters, you will be taken to Periyar. A journey to Periyar takes you through a beautiful route amidst the mist capped mountains, spice plantations, water falls and grasslands. The trekking trails amidst the forests help you to explore and enjoy the natural beauty in its true form. On arrival at Periyar, check into a hotel to get refreshed and relaxed. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 09: Periyar
Today you are scheduled to go to Periyar Tiger Reserve. You can also go on a trek amidst the forest and explore the beauty of the spice garden and experience the freshness in the air amidst the spice plantation. A boat safari on the Periyar Lake gives you an opportunity to spot the most exotic wildlife in its natural habitat. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 10: Periyar � Kottayam � Backwater
In the morning, you will be driven to Kottayam, where you will board the traditionally decorated houseboats on which you are scheduled to spend a 2 nights-back water cruise that will end on reaching Allepey.
Day 11: Allepey � Cochin
Today you will be taken from Allepey and transferred to the hotel in Cochin. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a city tour which will cover a visit to the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and the Dutch Palace. In the evening, you will get to enjoy Kathakali dance show and spend the night in the hotel.
Day 12: Cochin � Calicut
In the morning, you will be driven to Calicut. On your arrival at Calicut, you will check into hotel. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a half day city tour which would cover a visit to the Pazhassiraja Museum, the Art Gallery and Krishna Art Museum. Overnight stay is scheduled in the hotel.
Day 13: Calicut � Treehouse
Today you will be taken to Vythiri, which is situated at a height of 3750ft above the sea level, in the Western Ghats in North Kerala among the Wyanad Hills. Vythiri is situated at a distance of 65 kms from Calicut. You can get an access to the Treehouse at a height of 86 ft from ground by an indigenous cane elevator. Spend the day at a beautiful accommodation in Tree house.
Day 14 to Day 15: Treehouse - Ooty
On the fourteenth and the fifteenth day of exploring the Nest Backwaters, you will be kept free to explore the area and enjoy a stay on the tree house. On the later half of the fifteenth day, you will be taken to Ooty and on your arrival check into a hotel to spend an overnight stay.
Day 16: Ooty
This is the sixteenth day of the Nest Backwaters Tour where you will get a chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of Ooty. Ooty is an important tourist spot in Tamilnadu and is a place to visit in the summer season for its pleasant climate. It is often referred to as Udagamandalam and is called the �Queen of Hills�. Ooty is situated at the tri junction of Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka. It is situated at an altitude of 7500 feet above the sea level and is a beautiful tourist destination. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 17: Ooty � Mysore
In the morning you will be driven to Mysore where on arrival you will check into the hotel. In the afternoon you will be taken on a city tour and an overnight stay is scheduled in the hotel.
Day 18: Mysore � Bangalore
In the morning after a short sightseeing tour you will be driven to Bangalore, where on arrival you will check into a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 19: Bangalore � Mumbai � Departure
In the morning of the last day of Nest Backwaters Tour in India you will be taken on a city tour of Bangalore, followed by boarding the flight to Mumbai. On your arrival at Mumbai, you will be taken to the hotel for wash and change and after having dinner you will be transferred to Airport to catch International flight.
